I am now in the process of collecting material for what I consider will be an extremely timely as well as fascinating book.
The book will be entitled, “If You Had a Magic Wand For a Day, What Would You Do With It? – Answers from People All Over the World.”
While I am accepting replies from anybody who may be interested in participating in my book, if you are between the ages of 8-18, well then you are extra special, since you get to ask permission from your parents/guardians for you to participate and once you do, you may then feel free to reply to the following question:
“If You Had a Magic Wand For a Day, What Would You Do With It?”
In addition to your replies, please e-mail me the following information:
1) Your First Name and First Letter of Your Last Name
2) Your Age
3) Your City/Town/State/Country
Thank you very much and looking forward to your thoughts!

It seems to me that no other childhood illness that has over a 70% chance of death as a prognosis is ever poked fun at by the entertainment industry. And yet, year after year, I continue to hear comments that are supposed to be funny being directed at this particular group of illnesses. I get it. The idea of a bubble is funny. Guess what? Most of these children get monthly infusions instead of living in bubbles. Is it a cure? No. The prognosis for my grandson is grim and I am being told to appreciate all the moments I have with him now. I am intellectually dealing with that but in my heart, holding out that a stem cell transplant will save him. Anyway, when did it ever become okay to make fun of an illness, especially one that is so devastating to childhood?
@Sing Song:
Goedel’s theorems prove no such thing. They imply that there can be truths which cannot be known/proven (things cannot be said to be known without proof), but the proofs are dependent on present formulations of set theory, which may or may not be accurate.
